Give Hope
Our very first Hearts a 'Fire event was a huge success! Both of our projects this year were fully funded!
As a long time supporter of the American Wheelchair Mission, funds were raised for a shipping container of wheelchairs (280 chairs) that was delivered to Mexico in February of 2023. In addition, funds were also raised for a full year scholarship to Horses of Hope, a local therapeutic riding center here in Southeast Kansas.
We are so blessed to bring hope, joy, and freedom of movement to those most in need.
We look forward to partnering with you for future events!
Our goal is to raise funds to provide the tools & services necessary to provide a better quality of life for people locally, nationally and internationally who are unable to help themselves.

Hello. We are Kurt & Kate Long of Edna, Kansas.
After retiring from careers spanning over 30 years, we made the decision to leave the Kansas City area and move to the Clifford & Kathryn Long family farm (CEROKWA) in 2011. City life had provided us with what we needed, but we yearned for returning to “small town America” and fulfilling our dream of living the country life. Besides caring for our many animals which include horses, cows, chickens, kitties and our beloved farm dog, Cowboy, more importantly, we have grown in our faith. God has blessed us with so much, and because of His grace we are now focused on giving back.
